We assist school governors and senior managers to completing the Self-Assessment Tool and to put together a comprehensive portfolio of evidence to demonstrate and support the school’s compliance with the 5 elements of the Financial Management Standard as shown below and eventual achievement of the FMSIS accreditation:
Leadership and Governance, People Management, Policy and Strategy, Partnerships and Resources andProcesses
Please note that we cannot prepare a school for external accreditation and perform external assessment to the same school on the grounds of independence.
We assist schools that have not met the Standard, to establish a financial control system that would contain key activities and characteristics that are in line with the essential financial management practices as outlined within the Guide to the Financial Management Toolkit. For the schools already meeting the Standard, we propose to assist them to develop desirable financial management practices as they continue to improve their financial management performance.
We provide in-house training for school governors and senior managers including Head Teachers on how to use the FMSIS Self-Assessment tool to benchmark their own performance against the nationally recognised statement of good practices as well as identify areas for development.
